We've added a new manufacturing KPI to the system, user interface streamlining, fixing syncing issues and more.
Paper-Less is pleased to release the latest version of its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software. In this upgrade, we’ve focused on adding improvements to the product for managers as well as several fixes. Some of these changes include:
- Adding a new KPI metric for Manufacturing Cycle Time and enhanced chart filters for KPI metrics to be placed along-side the chart, rather than through a separate pop-up window for easier KPI modification by users.
- For Quality Control Plans, when creating Serial Number Characteristic Types that are executed at Workcenter, we’ve improved the messaging to state that this characteristic first checks the operation. It also checks whether the Serial Number was recorded at the previous operation to reduce duplicate numbers being created and double-checking process.
- Improved sync process to alert when sync failure occurs when duplicate PO numbers have the same order date but different TurnAround Numbers and Item Site Item Category table inducing errors when using newly created databases.
These are just a few of the updates and bug fixes that have been made to the Paper-Less MES. More information is available on these and the other areas where we’ve focused on improving the system’s operation and performance for our customers.
